Well take a bow Bill, you deserve it..This is clearly Otis,Spaulding and Baby's show...I dont know if it surpasses House of 1,000 Corpses, but it truly is in the pantheon of great sequels. There were a lot of great scenes and great lines. I liked the transitions a lot. I dont want to say too much until other bots jump on this thread. My only question is..what happened to Dr Satan?

Personally, I thought Wm Forsythe rocked the movie. Few actors hit the descent in insanity as well as he did. Obviously, I had a problem with how Wydell...(no spoilers for those who haven't seen it) but I'll get over it.
Leslie Easterbrook also blew me away. I thought she added a great new dimension to Mother Firefly. I came away with new respect for her abilities.
Liked the no bs attitude of Otis, made the character more menacing than in HO1C.
Great movie and will be waiting impatiently for the dvd.

I was actually very impressed with Priscilla Barnes. It's a broad jump from sweet nurse Terri in 3's Co. to debased victim in Zombie exploitation flick and she seems to be quite a trooper, and a very good actress!
By the way, I'm a new member. Is there an initiation process here? Can Choptop give me a hug? I'll lick his plate. =)
To continue, I got my money's worth out of the flick (and the $100 bucket o'popcorn). I loved the movie. Movie-makers have been lacking guts (did I just pun?) so it was refreshing to see CARNAGE, DEBAUCHERY, SICKNESS purely as a means of entertainment. No morals, no good vs. evil .. we just watched a sick family and a sick sheriff duke it out for survival, for justice, for whatever. AH, and I had to buy the soundtrack. I'd never heard of Terry Reid but he's got some beautiful tunes .. and now I can't listen to Freebird without thinking of that final shoot-out (PERFECT PERFECT PERFECT).

Actually that's another reason why I think Barnes is a gutsy actress. She had the third areola in Mallrats ... veeery unconventional role. So what's your idea for the third flick?? If it involves the D.Rs, how do they return from the dead? It would actually be interesting to have these three characters popping up in every horror genre possible considering I kinda felt like that's what Rob did with these characters: Lessee.... - teen slasher (The Rejects Know what you did last Summer) - exploitation (The Devil's Rejects Spits on Your Grave) - zombie (Rejects of the Dead) (natch) - vengeful spirits (Thirteen Devil's Rejects) - alien sci-fi (uuuh, help me out here..) - j-horror (The Devil's Rejects are Lost in Translation....) (sorry .. I know that's not a horror flick) - suspense horror (When The Devil's Rejects call..)
Somebody stop me. I've lost control. =)

It was great to see Mary Woronov, Geoffrey Lewis and Steve Railsback in something again, even briefly.

I agree that forsythe was the perfect actor for that role...haha have you guys seen Out For Justice? He plays a cracked out mobster named Richie maldano (something like that...), and he literally smoked crack in about every scene he is in. Oh, and its also Seagal's best film.
